This is a free community event for children with disabilities and their families.
Easter Celebration Event
Hop on up to Government Peak Chalet and let us twist you your very own Easter themed balloon!
Tickets are sold at the door and all the activities like facepainting, balloons, crafts, games, and other activities are included with your ticket.*
They will have vendors available to sell you some goodies if you’re interested in that too. (Not mandatory, but if you have the extra cash and want to support a small local vendor, they’ll be available.)
*Note: This is the first year these particular hosts (not us) have ever attempted to organize an event of this scale and made some budgetary miscalculations. Long story short, in order for our host to keep ticket cost down, we entertainers are volunteering our time/resources at this event so that your families can be entertained. (Meaning $0 of your ticket fee is used to pay Gradient Expressions (GE) entertainers for their services.) Because of this we will be accepting (but not expecting) tips. It is not expected or required that you tip. We want your family to have a great experience, no matter your financial situation. Our boss here at GE is working with the organizers to secure contracts and modifications for next year.

As a thank you for everyone who sends us an email about their experience at any of our publicly held events or personal encounters will receive a coupon for a free twisted balloon or small facepaint. Free coupon can be redeemed 1) as a scheduled private session or 2) at an unscheduled time at a public event GE is participating at.

Mini Carnival by Kaitlyn at State Farm
Join us for a day of sun, fun, and community spirit at the annual Summer Mini Carnival, hosted by Kaylin McGilvary's State Farm Insurance agency. In addition to exploring local vendors, savoring delicious cuisine, and grooving to live music, be sure to stop by this mini carnival for complimentary face painting and balloon twisting courtesy of your host Kaitlyn. There will be tons of activities for the little ones; such as chalk to leave your mark, or hoopla hoops to let them wiggle and jiggle. Royal Parade
Princes and Princesses age 3-10 come join the Royal Parade at the Whales Tail in the Hotel Captain Cook, a celebration of this year’s Fur Rondy Festival.
There will be face frosting (painting), royal parade, crowning ceremony, hot cocoa, and so much more!
Mat-Su Plunge
Tamra will be taking the plunge to raise money and awareness for the hearing impaired community. You’ll recognize her because she will be wearing a giant red inflatable balloon dog inner tube for her jump costume. After her jump Tamra and Daphne will be inside the Elks lodge twisting balloons for free.

Christmas Friendship Dinner
Come out and celebrate the gift of friendship and fellowship with us. This is our ‘gift’ back to the community. We like to help Santa out a little, so all year long we collect gently used or like new toys; repair, wash, or restore them back to new condition and give these awesome toys a second chance at a new life with another child who might not have otherwise received a gift or toy for the holiday. Also, while Santa is making miracles happen, our team of face painters and balloon twisters will be volunteering their time and materials to provide an extra entertainment element to this community gift.
